About the artists

AMIDA, Piano Duo was founded in 2012 by pianists Amy Giller Heyman and Ida Tili Trebicka.

The Duo has performed in several Central New York venues, such as Cazenovia Public Library, OASIS Center in East Syracuse , and CNYAMT Benefit/Fundraiser at Le Moyne College and Syracuse University’s Crouse College, Setnor Auditorium.  In its first year AMIDA Duo was invited to perform at the “Joyful Noise” concert series in Liverpool New York, performed for the Pro Art Music Club, and a Wednesday Recital for CMM at the Everson Museum.

The duo joined the Syracuse University Singers on a tour in the Chicago area, where they performed at the Evanston History Center, Evanston IL, and various churches in Arlington Heights and Hinsdale IL. They have collaborated with the Syracuse University Singers, and their conductor, John F. Warren.

Amy and Ida are also the founders of “40 Fingers” a group comprised of four professional pianists. The group has performed for Civic Morning Musicals “Live! at the Everson” Concert Series, as well as the Le Moyne College and Binghamton University’s Concert Series.
