Thank you for visiting our website. We are glad you saw fit to check out the membership page! By now, you have an idea what CMM does, and what we stand for. Allow me to welcome you to CMM membership.
CMM promotes classical music and its performers. In other words, we support music of lasting value. We recognize outstanding local performers and promote their performances: Symphony Syracuse members, college and school faculty members, other professionals, and serious students constantly perform on CMM's concert series. For the great majority of performances given under our auspices, we supply the artists with professional recordings. Other projects are dedicated to supporting and nurturing committed students--they carry the future of the music and traditions that are dear to us--and are also dedicated to member musicians and audience members, all of whose participation we recognize and cherish.
Your membership makes a difference. Civic Morning Musicals operates on a small budget. It is able to do so, thanks to its working Board of Directors, each of whom is involved on a voluntary basis in responsibilities using his or her areas of expertise. Every board member pays an annual membership fee. When you become a member of CMM I can give you as many as eight tickets to this wonderful concert series, for which otherwise, there is an admission charge. Your membership gives you tickets to concerts on this series at a significant savings, and on top of that, supports your outstanding local artists, shares in the fostering and nurture of young musicians, and helps to keep this irreplaceable culture live and vibrant.
